Why is it that when a man gets kicked in the groin the pain resonates to his stomach area?

Answer:
It has to due with how a fetus grows.

The ovaries and testicles actually first form inside the abdomen. So when the nerves come along to innervate them, they think they are in the abdomen.

Then, the testicles descend into the scrotum, but the nerves don't change nor do they really know they are in a different location. Therefore, when you get kicked, the pain nerves send a signal to the brain from where they think they are (the abdomen).
Because all the tubes such as the vas defrens etc run up into the stomach so the pain radiates
Exactly, the nerves in your testicles are "rooted" in your lower abdomen.
